Photography started as a creative outlet in 2012 but quickly became a passion for Patti. In this wonderful digital age, Patti has fully embraced digital tools, such as Photoshop and Lightroom and others, to combine the disciplines of photography, digital painting, and graphic design while creating photographic art. Her goal was always to make an image more than just a photograph.

Patti is a member or the Erie Photography Club (EPC) and Presque IsleArtists Association (PIAA) and is currently the President and Chair of Marketing and Exhibits Committee of the Photographic Arts Society of Northwestern Pennsylvania (PASNWPA).

She has won many awards in local and regional photography clubs and expos over the years. Her photographic artwork has been accepted into many juried exhibits locally in Erie as well as in Ohio and New York and her artwork work has been featured in four solo exhibits, including Glass Growers Gallery in Erie, PA in 2015, Erie Insurance “galerie” in Erie, PA in 2016, Meadville Fine Arts in Meadville, PA in 2019 and Conneaut Arts Center in Conneaut, OH in 2024.

More than 50 pieces of her artwork have been selected for display in the corporate offices of Erie Insurance, UPMC Hamot Hospital, Erie Federal Credit Union, Eriez Magnetics, U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Erie, Hilling-Pfeffer Insurance Agency and others in Erie, Pennsylvania.

She has given presentations to local and regional photography clubs and teaches photography as well as full-day workshops in both basic and advanced post-processing techniques. Patti has also written an e-Book, titled “Marketing Your Photography.”  She has also judged numerous art and photography competitions for photography clubs and galleries.

Her proudest moment was when one of her images, “Moonlight Sail of the Brig Niagara,” was selected as the cover of a book, a historical novel titled “The Witch’s Fleet” by John Corrigan!
