Refund policy

Workshop Cancellation/Refund Policy:
For workshop registrations, because registrants are claiming one of a limited number of seats, cancellations made less than 72 hours before the class are not eligible for refunds. Cancellations made more than 72 hours in advance are eligible for store credit, which can be used to shop at Glass Growers Gallery & Gifts or toward another class registration. Workshop seats may also be transferred to another individual if desired; please notify us of the change at staff@glassgrowersgallery.com

This policy applies to online orders only. Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately, we can’t offer you a refund or exchange. From the holiday shopping season of November 1-December 31, the return policy window is extended to 60 days.

Non-returnable items: Gift cards and sale items, items used or damaged by purchaser. 

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.To initiate your return, please contact us at staff@glassgrowersgallery.com to share your plan to return in-store or ship the return.

Shipping: To return your product, we will issue a pre-paid shipping label you can print and adhere to the return package that will allow you to send your return to Glass Growers Gallery, 10 East 5th Street, Erie, Pennsylvania 16507, USA. You will be responsible for paying your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of original shipment and return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

When boxing the item, it is preferable that the original packaging or something comparable is used. It is the responsibility of the sender to ensure it is packaged carefully and is ready to travel safely. We will use forms of shipment with tracking but don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

Damaged Items: If the item arrived damaged, please contact us at staff@glassgrowersgallery.com with photos of the item and its packaging and we will work with you on a refund or replacement (if available). We will cover return shipping costs if the item is in a condition we determine is worth shipping back to us.

Please work with Glass Growers directly and do not send any item directly back to the original artist or maker.

There are certain situations where no refund is given: 

  • Any item with obvious signs of use, or a purchase that had been in a sealed container and is opened.
  • Any item not in its original condition or that is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
  • Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery (or 60 days in the holiday extension period)

Refunds:
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, your refund will be processed and a credit will be applied to your credit card or original method of payment.

Late or missing refunds: There is often some processing time before a refund is officially posted. If you haven’t received a refund yet, try checking with your credit card company and bank to see if it is pending. If you have concerns, please contact us at staff@glassgrowersgallery.com.

Exchanges: We only replace items if they are defective or damaged and a suitable replacement item is available (many of our items are unique and one-of-a-kind). If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email to coordinate the exchange and send your item to: Glass Growers Gallery, 10 East 5th Street, Erie, Pennsylvania, 16507, USA.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary. 

Gifts: If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received by us, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he/she will find out about your return.
