    Mr. Gibson has taught at Daemen College in Buffalo, NY, Attica Correctional Facility, in Attica, NY, and at Edinboro University of Pennsylvania in Edinboro, PA. He retired from teaching in 2012.


    His paintings and drawings have been widely exhibited around the country and have received many awards. Mr. Gibson’s work is in numerous museum and gallery collections. A partial list includes: The Albright-Knox Art Gallery, The Butler Institute of American Art, East Carolina University Museum of Art, the Flint Institute of Art, The Charles Burchfield Center of the SUNY System, The Rochester Memorial Art Gallery, Rutgers University, and The Sioux City Art Gallery


    Mr. Gibson’s work is in many private collections as well. Most notable is the Charles Rand Penney Collection. His work can be seen in publications such as Artists of The Commonwealth, Realism in Pennsylvania, 1950-2000, edited by Nancy Brokaw.
