Basic Photography Workshop: Thursday, March 19: 5:15-7:15 pm

Join Erie-based artist Frederick Fiedler for a basic 2-hour photography class aimed primarily at smart phone users and other photographers that want to improve their photography without getting into the weeds of technical photography aspects like aperture, shutter speed , and ISO settings, etc. 

“Learning to See the World Differently Through Your Camera”

Fred has been passionate about photography from a young age and loves to share his passion with others. The photography world has been changed dramatically over the last twenty years with the advent of digital and most recently with A.I. Everyone has a high-quality camera in their pockets and we are constantly bombarded daily with tons of mediocre photography. This demonstrates that cameras of any kind are just tools much like an artist’s paint and paint brushes. What sets a beautiful and interesting photograph apart from all the others, is the photographer’s unique vision and ability to see and capture the world differently!

Anyone looking to get inspired about photography and improve their photographic skills. Learn the compositional basics that will make your photography stand out from the crowd! Whether you only shoot with your smart phone or use a digital camera, this class is for you!

Bring your smart phone or camera.  Participants will capture imagery in and around Glass Growers Gallery.  

$40 includes instruction and light refreshments.
