Do you "Grow" Glass here?

Why are we called Glass Growers Gallery? The name comes from our love of alliteration and the fact that we did "grow" glass at one time.

We made geodesic domes, quartz crystal formations that were used from terrariums, light fixtures, sculpture and 3d windows. We found out that silicone out-gasses and we had cadmium in our silver solder. So we stopped "growing" glass.

We broaden our reach to other American Craftspeople who carry on the tradition of working with their hands enhanced by modern technology (at times).

What we grow now is awareness. Awareness of their works and awareness of the benefits of embracing creativity and supporting the visual arts! Image: Edward Grout
