This Mother's Day weekend, we're thinking ahead to summer fun and the joys of flying a kite in the sunshine. Join Erie-based artist Missi Berquist for an interactive workshop where she shares techniques for using wire, paper, and adhesives to create whimsical miniature kite suncatchers that shine in the sun.
Two kites (examples pictured) will be created during the session along with optional gift tags/small pieces. Missi will provide various materials to help participants unleash their creativity. Because the sealed paper needs overnight to dry before adding finishing touches, there will be a pop-in session from 1-3 pm on Sunday, May 12 for participants to stop in to complete and add to their design.
Each participant will go home with their own handcrafted artwork.
$36 includes instruction, materials, and light refreshments

Our shipping costs are based on item weights and range from $5-$20 for most orders. Shipping costs are higher for larger pieces of artwork due to the package dimensions and necessary insurance coverage.
Orders that contain only jewelry items will ship for free and jewelry items in any order do not count toward the shipping cost calculations.
We offer free local delivery in a 12 mile radius and also offer free in-store and curbside pick-up. To pick up an order curbside, please give us a call at 814-453-3758 when you are nearby and we will run the order out to your vehicle.
