Glass Growers Gallery & Gifts is pleased to present Earth Visions, a solo exhibition of landscape paintings, linocuts, monoprints, and serigraphs by Dennis Revitzky. The exhibition opens Thursday, August 6, 2026, with an Artist Reception from 5:00 to 7:30 PM, and will remain on view through Saturday, September 12.

Working in oil painting alongside a range of printmaking techniques, Revitzky brings a lifetime of practice and an expansive artistic vision to his work. This exhibit asks viewers to look beyond the surface of the landscape toward something deeper.

    About the Exhibition: Earth Visions

For Revitzky, the landscape is not simply a subject, it is a means of reaching toward something beyond ordinary perception. In his own words:

“I have always felt that a good landscape work was more than an accurate depiction of some scene, or a vehicle through which to explore various art media or styles. The lines, colors, shapes and textures an artist can use to re-create nature can be used to express joy or gloom, peacefulness or anxiety. But more than inducing or reflecting human emotions, there is another aspect of the landscape- one which relates to the mysterious sense of the world; to something outside ourselves to which we are drawn or feel a part.”

The works in Earth Visions span painting and printmaking, drawing on Revitzky’s mastery of multiple disciplines. His oil paintings are distinguished by a technique that heavily emphasizes texture, working to evoke the spiritual essence of a place alongside its physical presence. His hand-crafted, original prints carry a more expressionistic energy, bold and immediate.
