Deborah Van der Bol

Deborah has been painting her unique palette of colors in ink and watercolor, pastel, or acrylics for over forty years in both The Cayman Islands and in Erie County, Pennsylvania. The works of Bonnard, Van Gogh, Gaughan, Winslow Homer, and Camille Pissarro all made a big impact on the artist as does the stain paintings of Helen Frankenthaler.
Several of Deborah’s paintings are in the permanent collection of The National Gallery of The Cayman Islands, and have been featured in various Art Shows. HEE paintings and art prints have been collected internationally as her subjects are varied and reflect her exploration of color combinations, textures and finishes.
A BA graduate of Edinboro State College,  Debbie owned and managed Pure Art Gallery & Gifts (Grand Cayman) for over 35 years, but has retired from retail to paint full time in her home studio in Girard (Pa.).
