Peggy Quinn is an accomplished ceramic artist living in East Springfield, Pennsylvania. She creates her distinctive handmade pottery in a charming backyard pole barn studio amid the rural beauty of Erie County. With a deep commitment to beauty, timeless elegance, and exceptional craftsmanship, Peggy's wheel-thrown and hand-painted pieces reflect her mastery as a potter and her lifelong passion for the art form.
Drawing inspiration from contemporary craft potters as well as the rich traditions of antique and modern pottery from China and Japan, her work blends cultural reverence with fresh, personal expression. Her background as an Art Historian enriched her perspective from her time at the Chinese Culture Foundation in San Francisco, where she worked in the Fine Art and Craft Gallery and immersed herself in the study of Asian art and ceramics.
Each of Peggy's creations is designed to bring joy to daily use while elevating the aesthetic of any home- infusing spaces with uniqueness, authenticity, and transformative beauty through the power of handmade art.
Peggy's accomplishments include receiving an Erie Arts and Culture Creative Entrepreneur Accelerator Program Grant and being selected for the Erie Made Creative Business training grant. She is a proud member of the Northwest Pennsylvania Artist Association and exhibits her work at prestigious venues, including:
GalERIE at Erie Insurance (Erie, PA)- Her work is included in their private collection.
