Born and raised in Erie, Pennsylvania, Brandon Borgia’s love for art was inspired by his mother, Louise, and his brother, Bobby, a magician who introduced Brandon to the crystal ball that would ultimately inspire a unique way of seeing the world.
Through his love of nature, hiking, and the Erie community, Brandon began capturing breathtaking images through the eye of a crystal ball, creating his own distinctive style of nature, sunsets, and local Erie landmarks. Over the years, his artistic journey has expanded beyond photography to include metal and wood artwork, laser engraving, and other creative mediums.
For the past four and a half years, Brandon has pursued his passion as a full-time artist, creating and selling his work throughout the Erie region while also sharing his knowledge and creativity with others through hands-on art classes and workshops.
Giving back to the community is an important part of Brandon’s work. He teaches art at the Inner City Art House, helping introduce creativity and artistic expression to others and encouraging people of all ages to discover their own creative potential.
Brandon’s work has received awards at the Edinboro Arts and Music Festival, and he has participated in Gallery Nights at Dafmark Studio and Asbury Woods. His work has also been featured at the Jay and Mona Kang Art Show at the Gertrude Barber Center.
When Brandon isn’t creating art or teaching, you can often find him on the disc golf course, enjoying another one of the passions that keeps him connected to the outdoors and the Erie community.
