Born in 1943 in Pittsburgh PA, Ron Bayuzick grew up in a very artistic environment. Much of the artistic influence can be attributed to his parents from their weekly trips to the Carnegie Museum art classes, and by studying music in school. With an undergraduate degree in Arts Education from Edinboro University and a Master of Fine Arts from Kent State, Bayuzick was well prepared for the true meaning of a working artist. Once he completed his formal education, Bayuzick spent 30 years working as an art teacher at Stow High School in Ohio. After retiring, he then continued working as a teaching artist with local non-profit organizations and making sculptures for community projects and paintings for sale in local galleries. His paintings can be found in several permanent corporate collections and many private collections . His sculptures have also been widely exhibited in the Tri-State Area.
