Cassi Unger is a Fine Artist, focusing most of her time painting en plein air and sketching from life. Originally, she was trained and received a BFA in Illustration. Later she discovered that she loved painting both landscape and figure.
Cassi paints in the sun, in snow, in wind, and in rain. The only way she is able to see the weather and its effects on nature is to study and be present in witnessing these patterns. The same idea goes with the figure in an environment. She believes that we can better interpret the body when seeing it move in any particular environment.
