You are invited to view the most recent art of David Ludwick. His impressionistic work offers us a journey into
Pennsylvania’s regional landscape. As an impressionistic painter, David portrays light in a range of subtle shadings to illustrious chiaroscuro. In his pastel works, each tree, plant, building, road or sky is expertly interpreted. His impressionistic portrayal of even the most typical subject, such as an out building tucked away in the bushes on a farm, assigns a quality of mystery and dignity. In his oil paintings, Mr. Ludwick conveys direction, energy, and form in each palette knife stroke. He builds a narrative that embraces form and light so masterfully.
